Hotelcert
This ‘quality mark’ signifies that the establishment has obtained a Certificate from HOTELcert ® Hotel Services issued by AFAQ, BP 40, 92224 BAGNEUX Cedex, France. The main service commitments included are: service with a smile, availability, practical and tourist information, tranquility, cleanliness, proper bedding and a quality control programme. The terms of reference (REF-145-01) deal with the reception, the provision of information, your stay and breakfast service in classified hotels.

Engagement qualité
‘Engagement Qualité’ is a ‘quality mark’ given to an establishment which is registered for regular inspections to check the quality of its services and which has reached the level of quality required for its market sector following the last audit of its services performed by a specialist professional firm (from a list established by the Var Chamber of Commerce & Industry on 15/10/2007)
Essential commitments:
* Information and communication: clients should be given clear, accurate and full information both on the telephone and on site (signage, signs, etc).
* Personal welcome: friendliness, courtesy, personal warmth and service-with-a-smile, availability of staff, attentiveness
* Staff competence: full and attentive consideration given to each guest; helpful advice, providing appropriate information, foreign language speaking capability.
* ambiance and comfort: well maintained and clean, vegetation and green spaces, a welcoming place to relax, comfortable furniture.
* Cleanliness and housekeeping: hygiene maintained, good condition of various things including toilets, furniture, kitchens.
* An appreciation and use of local resources: availability of local drinks and dishes, information provided for guests about tourist attractions in the local area.
